Barriers to Effective Learning
Online learning continues to grow in acceptance and popularity. Virtual Storehouse recognizes the potential of effective online learning and has identified key barriers which we address in our learning solutions.
Learner
- Little or no opportunities to interact or collaborate with subject experts and fellow learners.
- Many learning resources reside outside the learning environment.
- Many platforms rely on browser-based technology.
- Little or no integration with internal systems or resources.
Administrator
- Costly, technical skillsets required to configure and maintain systems.
- Complex Learning Management Systems may inhibit the creation of curriculum.
- Required online connectivity to access learning resources.
- Little or no syndication opportunities available for learning.
